STAFF at a Southampton pub will lose their hair and gain pounds for Comic Relief today.
Kitchen staff at The Bellemoor pub are having have their heads shaved and assistant manager Dave Tedridge will be opting for the smooth look when he gets a full body wax.
Other fundraising events at the Hill Lane pub include a raffle and weekend-long car wash. Chef Gina Lomer, 49, will be swapping her mid-length locks for a grade two crew cut.
Mrs Lomer said: "It's absolutely mad to be having my hair shaved off. It's my last aim at being youthful before I reach 50. Anything for a giggle, that's what I say. It's such a good cause, I wouldn't be doing it otherwise."
