STUDENTS at a Waterside college went global for the day as part of their contribution to Fairtrade fortnight.
Year 9 pupils, aged 13 and 14, at Applemore College in Dibden looked at how they can help improve the lives of the producers in developing countries, who provide much of our food for very low prices.
The teenagers participated in activities including a Christian Aid workshop and cooking with Fairtrade products.
Ex-student Katy Athersuch shared her experience of living and working in Nepal.
