Eastleigh are wheeling out the big screen so their fans don't miss out on the big match down the road at St Mary's tomorrow.

The Ryman Premier Division promotion-pushers need all the support they can get for a crucial home clash against Leyton, who are just one position below them in the table in fifth place.

So to draw in more fans who might otherwise be settling on to their sofas to watch Saints FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester United at 5.15pm, Eastleigh will be installing a 52-inch widescreen television so they can watch it in some style in the clubhouse.

Eastleigh manager Paul Doswell said: "We've had terrific support for our recent home matches and it does make a difference.

"We're getting to a crucial stage of the season with just nine games to go - and six more wins should see us into the promotion play-offs.

"And if we can finish either second or third we'll have home advantage for the first sequence and considering that these are one-off games, that's what we have to be aiming for."

Doswell concedes that it's looking like Yeading or Billericay for the title, but he reckons: "We're going into the last stretch looking more consistent than we've been all season.

"We've made some important new signings and we've got everyone available. We've got to make the play-offs first, but if we do, I would really fancy our players in a one-off."

Former Saints midfielder Martin Thomas, who has recently made a successful switch to right back, starts a two-game suspension tomorrow and Danny Smith drops back from the middle of the park to replace him.

Midfielder Alex Haddow has to prove his fitness but striker Paul Sales has played himself back into contention after a groin strain and may partner Andy Forbes up front.
