FORMER England and Essex cricket captains Graham Gooch and Nasser Hussain were special guests at the Relate Solent Grand Ball held at Rookesbury Park School in Wickham.
The event raised funds for charity Relate, the UK's largest provider of relationship counselling.
Also in attendance was the former Hampshire captain and England cricketer, John Stephenson, who has children at the school.
The event attracted over 150 guests and raised over £6,000 for Relate Solent.
Meanwhile, Hampshire skipper Shane Warne took his 998th first-class wicket today, bowling Hamish Marshall (146) as New Zealand amassed 433 on day two of the first Test in Christchurch.
Warne finished with 2-112 while Glenn McGrath claimed 6-115. Australia closed on 143-3.
