BEAUTY products giant Estee Lauder is now up and running with its new UK headquarters in Hampshire.

More than 300 staff are settling into the plush £20m complex at Kites Croft, Segens-worth, near Fareham.

The company, founded in 1946 by the woman it is named after, has upped sticks from 30 miles away in Petersfield, where it was based for three decades.

Estee Lauder's production centre - the largest in Europe - remains in the east Hampshire town.

The company, which has a £2.8 billion turnover, said convenience to the workforce was a major consideration in the relocation.
