BY day he is the sober-suited manager of one of Hampshire's busiest shopping centres.
But Dee Buffone revealed his wild side when he was called up on stage to back 80s pop singer Toyah Willcox.
Dee, 52, boss of Eastleigh's Swan Centre, was attending a management conference in Birmingham when his moment of fame came.
He was beckoned up on stage to join an air guitar line-up behind Toyah, who enjoyed three top ten hits including It's A Mystery.
Dee said: "I did not know that I could play the air guitar until I was summoned up there!
"Toyah was giving a speech on how shopping centres were becoming more important within communities.
"Then suddenly she picked me to join several other industry executives to join her on stage to play as she sang."
Dee's reward was a peck on the cheek from the singer.
Dee admitted that he was shocked to be chosen from 500 people to join Toyah, who has always been one of his favourite singers.
He said: "I was on stage for about three and a half minutes and I was so gobsmacked that I don't remember the song she sang."
The conference brought together shopping centre and retail destination bosses from across the country.
In her closing speech to the conference, Toyah explored the parallel worlds of rock and retail.
