THE extraordinary tale of The Owl and the Pussycat and their beautiful pea-green boat takes to the stage at Winchester's theatre Royal.
Based on the poem by Edward Lear, this production combines storytelling, comedy and songs to create a magical world of nonsense for everyone from the age of three.
With just a pot full of honey and plenty of money, two best friends embark on a long, perilous sea journey. They travel for a year and a day, until they reach the land where the Bong Tree grows...
It's all very well to run away - but who knows what you might find?
Following the success of The Gruffalo, Something Else and Snow White, both nationally and internationally, the Tall Stories theatre company returns to the stage with this charming adaptation of The Owl and the Pussycat.
Over the past seven years, they have toured extensively with their inventive family shows, giving audiences a fun and imaginative look at classic and modern stories.
This new production promises to be another delightful piece of children's theatre.
Tickets for The Owl and the Pussycat - at 12pm on Saturday, January 29 - cost £4.
