RAMBLERS: Twenty-eight people expressed an interest in joining a ramblers' group in the recent Village Plan survey.

Peter and Pam Evans, who are keen ramblers, have volunteered to organise a group, so if you are interested, call them on 298642.

cinema: The planned digital cinema in the Village Club is now being installed. It is hoped shortly to have a demonstration evening for the trustees and existing committee members.

MP'S clinic: Sir George Young's advice clinic is on Saturday, March 26, and not March 2, as in the parish magazine.

If you would like to meet him to discuss any problems or issues, he will be at the Village Club, between 10am and 11am.

It is open to all constituents and not just Kingsclere residents.

GUIDES: Having lost a couple of assistant Guiders last autumn, the District Guiding Association is keen to recruit Guiders and non-uniformed assistants.
