AFTER an absence of three years Jack Dee is hitting the road again in a brand new show that stops off at the Pavilion Theatre in Bournemouth on May 18.
Since his first show TV show touched our screens in 1992, Jack Dee has become a household name.
In 1991, he won the British Comedy award for Best Stage Newcomer and following numerous guest TV appearances and a successful run of Edinburgh shows he was nominated for the 1991 Perrier Awards.
His impressive list of awards to-date include two British Comedy Awards in 1995, one gold and two silver Arrows for his now infamous 'widget' John Smiths Bitter commercials in 1997 at the British Advertising Awards and the prestigious Best Stand Up Comedian at the 1997 British Comedy Awards.
The deadpan comic's TV career has also gone from strength to strength since those first tentative steps in 1992. By 1995, he was starring in his own hugely successful series on ITV and since then has rarely been off our screens.
Jack recently hosted the UK's biggest comedy event Comic Aid, in aid of the Asian Tsunami Appeal.
Tickets for his hugely funny show at the Pavilion Theatre in May are £18.50. Box office: 0870 111 3000.
