BAT Sports are through to the Lord's final of the ECB Indoor cricket Championships next Sunday.
They produced a sparkling performance to win yesterday's South West Regions Finals, beating 2003 National Champions Sudbrook and Somerset winners Barrington.
The local Southern Electric Premier League side out-shone both their opponents with a devastating performance in the field, Dave Adams taking 3-22 and David Banks a miserly 1-5 out of the Welsh side were pegged to 75-5 in the semi-final.
BAT lost Banks cheaply, but cruised to a five wicket win with Richard Kenway (29) and Damien Shirazi (28) both undefeated.
The regional final against Barrington was totally one-sided, the Somerset club suffering four run outs as they collapsed to 61 all out against some stunning fielding cricket.
BAT needed just seven overs to polish off the target, Kenway hitting 29 not out and Banks an unbeaten 20.
