HAMPSHIRE booked their place in the Final of the FA County Youth Cup for the first time in 15 years after beating East Riding 2-1 at Eastleigh's Sparshatts Stadium.
The tie, which was sponsored by the Daily Echo, was a rematch of last season's quarter final which East Riding won 3-2 at Blackfield & Langley FC.
Hampshire now face either Suffolk or Sussex, who meet next weekend, in the Final, where they will aim to win the competition for only the second time in its 60-year history.
The county's only previous success was a 4-3 aggregate victory over Cheshire in 1957.
Hampshire battled back from a goal down to win at the weekend.
After falling behind midway through the first half, Dominic Bryan levelled when he volleyed home from inside the box following a goalmouth scramble.
Ben Kneller, the man of the match for Winchester when they defeated Camberley 4-3 two days earlier to win the Hampshire Under-18 Floodlit Cup, grabbed the winner on the hour mark.
Riding's hopes of getting back into the game were dealt a blow just a minute later when their captain, Mike Bettney, was dismissed for a second bookable offence - a needless handball.
