Back-to-back wins over BAT Sports and Ventnor have given South Wilts a slight chance of making the NatWest Under-16 Indoor Cricket League finals at the Rose Bowl.
But they will have to beat Havant tomorrow and hope that the Isle of Wight loses its last game against Ventnor on March 13.
Tom Pearce (33) and James Glover (24) led South Wilts to 108-4, while Rob Pitman (2-19) and Dom Webb (2-17) did the damage as BAT were dismissed for 75.
Pearce (44) shone again as South Wilts reached 126 (Pitman 27) and then restricted Ventnor to 117.
Ben Woodhouse scored 25 and snapped up four stumpings - three of them off Danny Briggs (3-18) - for the Islanders.
BAT's miserable night continued with a seven-run defeat by Ventnor, whose 129-5 owed much to Briggs (37) and Chris Russell (28).
Phil Cooper (35) tried his best for BAT, who fell short at 122-4 (Ollie Turpin 2-40).
