A Romsey school is mourning the death of one of its teachers.
Romsey Junior School teacher Miss Faye Wrigglesworth collapsed and died in the bathroom of her Shirley home after suffering an epileptic fit.
Staff and pupils at the Cupernham-based school have been devastated by Faye's sudden death.
On Wednesday - the day of 23-year-old Faye's funeral in Southampton - the school closed in the afternoon as a mark of respect.
Headteacher, David Simpson, said: "Faye joined the school in September as a newly-qualified teacher. She taught Year 4 and 5 children. She had settled in very well and was highly respected by colleagues and children. Faye showed all signs of being a top-class teacher in the future. She had not been engaged long and had her whole life ahead of her."
A memorial service will be held at the school later in the year.
