THE Lost World: "One of our pterodactyls is missing". The Challenger Expedition returns from the Lost World with a dinosaur collection but one item goes on the run in London.

This is the theme of the Forest Forge Theatre production at the Village Club on Saturday, March 5, starting at 7.30pm.

How they will get the set into the club is one challenge.

MP's clinic: Sir George Young, our MP, will visit the Village Club, from 10am to 11am on Saturday, March 26.

It is open to all constituents, not just local residents.

He will talk to anyone who comes, but it is helpful if you contact his secretary in advance on 01264 401401 to give her brief details and make an appointment.

PARISH council: It will be interesting to see how many of those who packed out the last meeting turn up again on Monday, at 7.30pm.

The parish council has a vacancy for a parish clerk. This is now nearly a full-time job and is remunerated accordingly.
