VILLAGE Design Statement: Work on the Village Design Statement for Chineham continues on a rather rough road to preparing a meaningful document.
This will place on record local assets (before they disappear) and put forward thoughts about how our parish might develop in years to come.
A couple of residents have submitted lengthy and thoughtful written contributions on the topic, but the team is keen to hear from many more in order to ensure as broad an input as possible.
It is intended that a questionnaire be distributed in due course.
Personal involvement with the team remains the very best way to contribute.
Contact Janet Aris, on 332235, if you can help out in any way.
CHRIST Church, Reading Road: If you are free on a Tuesday morning, why not drop into the church for a drink, a cake and a chat at open house?
This is every Tuesday, from 10.30am until noon, and all are welcome.
For any queries regarding the church and its activities, call Ruth Randall on 01256 474280 or e-mail admin@christchurchchineham.org.uk
