CARERS Together: The next meeting will be held on Thursday, and offers an opportunity to meet other carers and share your concerns over lunch.
Note that this will be a lunch out, so please contact Jane on 01256 353290, or Maggie on 01256 357150, for more details.
A CANADIAN Adventure: On March 17, at 7.30pm, in Cross House, David Brace will give a talk about an exciting scenic trip across Canada, illustrated by some lovely slides.
Entry is by donation and refreshments will be available.
Bramley NWR is organising the evening and everyone will be welcome.
For more information, contact 323958.
LOOSE change boxes: Pennies for the hospice. It is surprising how they mount up.
The boxes are free and can be picked up from reception at St Michael's Hospice or sent to you by post.
All you have to do is drop in your pennies and encourage family and friends to help.
Contact Vanessa on 818000 for more details.
Also, for walkers, there will be a first-ever sponsored walk, starting and finishing at St Michael's Hospice on May 1. Details from 333300.
FILMS and supper evening: On February 7, a delicious supper of chicken casserole and a variety of rich desserts was served up in Cross House.
When tables had been cleared, Rodney showed more films kindly loaned by Geoff Wheeler Film Archives.
The raffle was drawn and a vote of thanks given to Rodney for another enjoyable evening.
NATIONAL Women's Register: Twenty-five Bramley Group members gathered at the Queens College Arms for supper in January.
The food was delicious and the staff and good service made the meeting one to remember.
Thanks to Judy for her organisation.
