BAT Sports have earned themselves a trip to Taunton next weekend, by qualifying for the regional finals of the National Indoor Knockout competition.
With home advantage against opponents from Swindon, BAT fielded first and kept the run rate down throughout the innings.
All bowlers were difficult to score against, David Adams (1 for 13) the most economical, but Swindon's final total of 81-5 did contain a worrying 30 in wides.
Fortunately for BAT, this did not matter as their batsmen, led by Richard Kenway (30 not out) progressed without major alarm to the target, reaching 83 for 2 with two overs to spare.
In more domestic matters, Winchester lead Division 1 of the league by a single point from BAT A, both sides still unbeaten after each recorded another victory.
Lymington's bowlers were put to the sword, in particular by the Taylors, Jimmy (33) and Billy (30), and were unable to overhaul Winchester's total of 137, finishing on 75 for 4.
BAT A, an hour after their win over Swindon, restricted Paultons A to 73 all out, David Adams again (2-18) and Damian Shirazi (1-9) excelling, then comfortably overhauled the Paultons A total in the eighth over.
Winchester play BAT A in the final week of league action, in three Sundays' time, provided BAT do not qualify for the national knockout final at Lord's on the same date!
In Division 2, there is another two-horse race for the league title. Hedge End A, currently still unbeaten, need to avoid a heavy defeat in their final match, against second-placed Paultons B, to win the division.
Paultons B gained maximum points in their derby against Paultons C, scoring 133-5 then bowling out the opposition for 97.
The Colts Division is the closest of all, with three teams still in with a chance of glory.
Burridge, Hambledon and BAT have all lost only once in the season, but bonus points dictate that the winner of the match between Burridge and Hambledon next weekend is likely to win the title.
Hambledon first have to ensure no slip-up against Paultons, while BAT will be looking for a convincing win against bottom-placed Michelmersh & Timsbury.
The first team to be confirmed as league champions are Ladies Division side Eastleigh & Otterbourne, who still have two matches to play.
The Institute side are safe in second place, ahead of the teams from the University and New Forest.
The schedule for Finals Night, on 20 March, will see Eastleigh & Otterbourne go for the Ladies League and Cup double against the University - Burridge and BAT battling it out in the Colts section, while the senior semi-finals, drawn on the evening, will involve Lymington, Trojans A, Winchester and BAT A.
