COMEBACK kings Embrace play the Guildhall in Portsmouth on Thursday as part of their sell-out UK tour.
The Huddersfield quartet shot back from the mire last year with the celestial top ten smash, Gravity, written by Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.
The band first rocked the charts in 1997 with their ballad-ladled debut, The Good Will Out. After four years of relative success the hotly tipped indie-troupe faded out of the scene, seemingly into extinction.
Thanks to a little help from their best buddy, Chris Martin, they returned last year with the kind of high velocity bang you'd expect when two planets collide.
Their gig at the Guildhall sold out months ago and they are one of the band's rumoured to be playing at this year's Nokia Isle of White Festival in June.
