HIT stage show Tomfoolery visits Lighthouse in Poole from next Tuesday. The hilarious production is based on the works of Harvard mathematician and songwriter, Tom Lehrer. The academic and satirist is best known for his deliciously dark and witty songs from the 1950s and 1960s. The songs have a timeless appeal, and Tomfoolery allows the audience to escape into the hilarious and wicked world of Lehrer. Three of the country's best-loved cabaret artists, Dillie Keane and Kit and the Widow join forces in this show's first major revival since the hit West End run of the 1980s. It runs until Saturday March 5.

IF you liked TV show Hi-de-Hi then you'll love rock musical Wake Up Little Suzie, which will be performed throughout March at The Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke. The show is set in a holiday camp in the glam 1970s and takes the audience on a nostalgic and feel-good journey. From talent contests to knobbly knees and glamorous granny competitions, the show is suitable for every age group, and is sure to get those feet tapping! It runs until March 19.

For an evening of warmth and wit, visit the Regent Centre in Christchurch tomorrow evening. Performer Maria Gibbs and pianist Andrew D Brewis present their tribute to the very best of classic comedienne, Joyce Grenfell. The show, called George...Don't Do That promises to transport the audience to an era when humour meant good clean fun. The show starts at 7.30pm.

The Forest Forge Theatre Company are about to embark on a tour with their new production, The Lost World. The show follows the story of Professor Challenger and his adventure into the depths of a South American jungle in search of a living dinosaur. The tongue-in-cheek production is full of humour, action and adventure, and stops off at a number of local village halls, community and arts centres around the county over the next month. BALLET lovers are in for a treat when the Moscow Ballet - La Classique makes a welcome return to Ferneham Hall in Fareham on March 3 with its production of Giselle (pictured right).

Salisbury Playhouse is delighted to be producing the regional premiere of Tom Stoppard's The Invention of Love, (above) which will run in the Main House from March 3 to 26.

Strictly Dandia comes to the Nuffield Theatre in Southampton from Tuesday.

Written by Tamasha's artistic directors Sudha Bhuchar and Kristine Landon-Smith, this dazzling show features fast and funky dance routines by award-winning choreographer Liam Steel.

Set during a fictitious dance competition, young dancers take to the floor, under the watchful eye of the older generation in a bid to be crowned the Diwali King and Queen. The show looks at the challenges faced by young Hindus in Britain today as they struggle with their parent's aspirations for them and their own ambitions.
