AWARD-winning Romsey-based RAODS bring Ira Levin's hugely successful thirller Deathtrap to the Plaza from Tuesday to Saturday, March 5.
Written in 1978, the show ran for a record-breaking 1,792 performances on Broadway. It was subsequently presented at the Garrick Theatre in London starring Denis Quilley.
The 1982 movie version starred Michael Caine and the late Christopher Reeve.
Set in the isolated England home of Sidney Bruhl, a successful writer of Broadway thrillers, the action centres around the play Deathtrap a new thriller by unknown dramatist Clifford Anderson, which he has sent to Sidney for comment - or has he? The ingenious plot is full of twists and turns until the final scene when all is revealed.
