TEN youngsters aged between 9 and 16 from Alresford-based Don Perrin Tennis enjoyed great success during the recent half term week.
They played in the annual Alverstoke Junior Tournament, where there were many skilful and inspired performances.
"We had group support from fellow Alresford players and their parents, which created a great team spirit and provided a good source of encouragement throughout the week," said Don.
Among those who did particularly well were Tim Harris (Boys 10 & under singles semi-finalist), Joe Pryor and Toby Sampson (Boys 14 & under doubles semi-finalists), Lizzie Flesher and Hannah Stratton (Girls 14 & under doubles finalists), Toby Sampson (Boys 14 & under finalist-winning, six matches on the way to the final!) and 16-year-old Alex Watley. He didnt drop a set all week, winning the boys 18 & under singles final.
