OFFICE secretaries on annual salaries in Southampton earn between £13,340 and £15,940, according to a wages survey by national recruitment specialist Kelly.
Receptionists in the city take home between £10,956 and £13,566, while the office junior gets between £9,789 and £11,787.
The office manager receives double that - somewhere between £19,333 and £30,000, while the PA, generally acknowledged as 'The Fixer', is paid between £16,666 and £20,666.
A Kelly spokesman said: "As employment levels rise, the pressure on organisations to find well-qualified, high-calibre staff intensifies.
"Companies need to understand that they must offer very competitive packages in the battle for talent."
Administrators rack up between £12,400 and £14,840, while data entry staff get between £10,733 and £13,006.
Call centre advisers take home £11,633 to £15,186, while the call centre team leader gets £15,186 to £17,713.
Their supervisor, meanwhile, is likely to receive between £15,940 and £20,226.
Production assistants get £10,970 to £14,061, while warehouse operators see between £11,220 and £13,240.
Forklift drivers weigh in financially with between £13,010 and £16,206.
