ROARING 1970s rockers Nazareth, pictured, make an appearance at The Brook in Southampton on Wednesday.
Fronted by Dan McCafferty, the band are remembered for hits such as Broken Down Angel and My White Bicycle. Coming out of Scotland in the late 60s as part of the initial British hard rock movement, Nazareth combined the rasping vocals of McCafferty with the power chord driven music of bass player Pete Agnew, original guitarist Manny Charleton and drummer Darrell Sweet. The music they created was a combination of British rock and American rhythm and blues.
