IT may contain a beautiful woman pole-dancing, but Ballet Lorent's new piece, La Vie des Fantasmes Erotiques et Esthetiques, is a world away from the seedy Soho vision it conjures up.
Visiting theatre Royal, Winch-ester for the first time next month, this is an imaginative piece of dance theatre, spun through a kaleidoscope of beautiful and erotic imagery in a performance that unashamedly celebrates the incredible beauty of women.
Choreographed by Jerwood Choreography award-winner Liv Lorent, it explores the beauty of women and the depths of man's desire for them.
La Vie des Fantasmes Erotiques et Esthetiques is for everyone. The women are beautifully dressed in exquisite costumes by Paul Shriek, and enveloped in a magical lighting design by Malcolm Rippeth.
The performance is at the Theatre Royal, Winchester on March 8. Box office: 01962 840440.
