Sir-I would like to ask why is Tadley library closed on a Tuesday?
The council has a duty of providing library services to an ever-growing community, and it baffles me as to why this service is unavailable on a normal working day.
I realise it is open on Saturdays, but surely the staff could be rotated so that their days off could be given without closing every Tuesday.
I have arrived at the library with a reasonably urgent need to use their computer facilities before remembering this closure.
I have also witnessed many others attempting to gain access on a Tuesday before leaving, disappointed and frustrated.
It simply seems to have become grudgingly accepted that this is "the way it is" without questioning the reason why.
It seems totally outdated for such a service to close on a weekday, yet somehow not particularly surprising for a council-run facility.
The library is used by a large number of people, and I feel it should be available throughout the week.
