RAINBOWS: First Oakridge Rainbows, a pre-Brownie Guide Group for girls aged five to seven, meet every Wednesday, at the Oakridge Methodist Church, Vivian Road, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
If you think your child would be interested, or you would like to get involved and help, call Tess on 01256 351777. It could be fun.
TREE dedications take place on Monday, May 2, and involve a plaque ceremony followed by lunch at the Oakridge Hall for All.
The newly-planted trees around Oakridge village green will be dedicated in memory of local people who, during their lifetime, made a significant and lasting difference to the Oakridge community.
So, if you feel there is someone you know who deserves nominating, whether living or passed on, contact Sandie Plowman, of Sentinel Housing, on 0800 1955515.
Due to the limited number of trees, those nominees who do not get a plaque will be mentioned on the day.
BOWLING competition: Is being held, in aid of the Daniel Bowler Memorial Trust Fund, which supports terminally-ill children and their families.
It will be held in the Bowlplex, at the Leisure Park, Basingstoke, on March 6, 16 and 23.
For further information on how to enter a team, call Michaela Riley on 01256 335882.
DRUM runners workshop: Is being held on March 20, from 2.30pm to 6pm, at the Oakridge Hall for All, with another one being held on March 27.
For more information, contact the hall.
