PETERSFIELD's 3-0 home victory over Division 2 basement boys Aldermaston was marred by an horrific injury to promising 19-year-old midfielder Adam Fawcett.
The talented teenager broke his elbow after landing on it and the match was held up for 30 minutes while an ambulance was called and he was rushed off to hospital.
"It's a very bad one - we all heard his elbow 'pop' as he landed on it," winced Town boss Mark Burton.
And there's more bad news for Burton as well as talented striker Guy Madjo is set to join Conference side Aldershot Town.
But the Cameroon hit-man signed off in style at Love Lane with two more goals - taking his tally to 12 in 11 games with the club, Gavin Keogh notching Town's third.
Whitchurch United midfielder Damien Hack was carried off with a knee injury just three days after teammate Chris Iddles broke his leg in their midweek North Hants Senior Cup victory against Overton.
The good news for United manager Howard Goddard was their 2-1 success at East Cowes Vics, which extended the North Hampshire club's unbeaten run to seven league and cup matches.
James Scrivens fired Goddard's men into a 50th-minute lead and, although Paul O'Connnor levelled for the Islanders, Ricky Attridge rifled home the Whitchurch winner ten minutes from time.
There's no change at the summit with the top three sides all picking up maximum points and keeping clean sheets in the process.
Lymington Town recovered from their midweek setback at Alresford with a 2-0 win at Fawley but Town boss John Pyatt wasn't overly impressed. "We did play well in midweek yet lost - today we didn't play well at all and won!"
John Bailey latched on to Scott Metcalfe's through ball to put the leaders in front midway through the first half with substitute Danny Adams netting their second five minutes from time.
Just a couple of miles down the road, Ryan Woolfenden and Stuart Brown both lobbed the home keeper inside the opening 16 minutes of Poole Town's 5-0 spree at Hythe & Didben.
Woolfenden chipped the bemused Hythe keeper again after 47 minutes with Peter Goodbody (70) - a new signing from Dorset Combination side Hamworthy Recreation - and Carl Chivers (75) completing their haul.
Third-placed Locks Heath are just about hanging on to the top two's shirt-tails after a 90th-minute strike from Jimmy Cuthbert wrapped up a last-gasp 1-0 success against Amesbury Town.
After beating Lymington Town 1-0 in midweek, Alres-ford were brought crashing to earth with a 2-0 defeat at Brading. First-half blows by Danny Hooker and Roger Roper won it for the Islanders.
Bishops Waltham's first home game since December 7 ended in a narrow 4-3 defeat at US Portsmouth, while Romsey Town were also involved in a high-scoring affair - a 3-3 draw away at Shaftesbury.
