A BLOCK of ice that had been carved in the shape of a heart as part of a competition in Andover's Chantry Centre took four days, 10 hours and 33 minutes to melt.
More than 630 people entered the competition to guess how long it would take for the ice to melt with the closest guess being made by Mrs Brenda Roe of Andover.
She wins a white gold and diamond pendant worth £259, which was provided by centre jewellers F Hinds.
Second was Mrs S Dutton, also of Andover, who wins £50 worth of Tchibo vouchers.
