TRAVIS have been strongly tipped to be the headline act at this year's Nokia Isle of Wight Festival.
American chartbreakers Maroon 5 have also been rumoured as another possible headline band.
Reports suggest Travis will play on the Friday night. The only confirmed acts so far have been Sunday night's headliners, R.E.M. and Embrace, and Snow Patrol, playing on the same day.
Travis have sold more than four million records worldwide and notched up four top ten albums, including two number ones.
The Scottish band are best known for hits including Why Does it Always Rain on Me and Turn.
This year's festival runs from June 10 to 12. Tickets start at £35.
