ONE of the most heartfelt pleas for help so far in the Andover Advertiser's Make a Difference campaign comes from the post-16 section of Icknield School.
Known as the FE Centre, 17 students are learning independent life skills at the bungalow in Vigo Road, Andover.
Teacher Hugo Wurzer said: "We would very much appreciate some assistance in painting some rooms here, and any other skills you could offer would be of immense help."
And his plea is backed up by several letters from the students themselves.
One writes: "We would like you to come and paint and brighten up our FE Centre. It would make us very happy."
Another plea comes from Testway Housing which is calling on all green-fingered volunteers to do their bit to improve the neighbourhood around Camelot Close in Andover.
