BOASTING more bling than Mr T and the kind of cheeky-chappy rhymes that make Mike Skinner sound like MC Hammer, Welsh rappers, Goldie Lookin Chain, are the freshest thing to happen in hip hop since The Beastie Boys brought middle England out in a nasty sweat.

The masters of chav play the Guildhall in Southampton a week today, as part of their sell-out UK tour. The band shot to fame last year with their hilarious top ten hit, Guns Don't Kill People Rappers Do.

Since then the Radio One favourites have released a debut album, Greatest Hits, and caused more mayhem and madness than a dog called Jerry Springer.

The Newport lads first started gigging around the pubs and clubs of South Wales, before somehow wangling a record deal with independent label, EastWest. Since then the 15-solid crew have launched their own mini-revolution, creating a storm in the music biz with their ridiculous, side-splitting raps about life in South Wales!
