THE grand opening of The Depot youth complex in Charlton is all set for tomorrow.
With an emphasis on sport, the complex provides three outdoor floodlit netball courts, a sports hall and a skate park.
One of the netball courts is designed as a multi-use games area.
Funding has come from Test Valley Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and a Sport England Lottery grant. The Blue Room is a chill-out area providing the chance to listen to music and chat with friends.
During the opening weekend the band All But Fallen will be performing live and the Gravity Skate Team along with nationally renowned skateboarder March Churchill will be trying out their ollies and kick-flips.
An outdoor climbing wall and outdoor ice rink will also feature during the opening weekend.
Special transport services have been laid on to take young people to The Depot.
The borough council is working closely with Hampshire County Council, Stagecoach and Test Valley Community Services to provide a town and rural service on Friday and Saturday evenings from around 5pm to 10pm when The Depot closes.
