ANDOVER police have issued an e-fit of a man they would like to interview in connection with a burglary in Enham Alamein on 8 January.
The elderly occupants of the home in Chapel Lane, Andover, were watching television at about 5.45pm when they heard noises coming from the bedroom.
A man opened the door to the living room where they were sitting and stood in front of them. The couple challenged the intruder who went to the front door and, it's believed, got into a car and drove off.
A short time later a similar burglary took place in the nearby village of Ragged Appleshaw and investigating officers believe the two raids may be linked.
The man is described as white, in his late 30s, of stocky build and with short black hair. He is about 5ft 10ins tall.
He was wearing polished black heavy shoes, dark trousers, and a long black woollen coat which came down to the calves He had unusual pock marks on both cheeks which looked like circles, and a scar on the left side of the face near the mouth, which had longish hairs sprouting from the top.
