The Winchester 2nd XI continued their good post-Christmas form with this convincing win to close the gap between themselves and the 3rds.
It also put pressure on Andover in the play-off position. They started brightly and forced a short corner which was neatly tucked away by skipper Jem Evans.
Fareham came back into the match and went close to equalising. But some solid work from the Winchester back four denied them and the home side struck again with a well-worked goal before half-time.
They dominated the game after the break and their pressure produced the thid goal, this time from Kent Langridge. The same player then completed the scoring with a wonder goal after taking the ball past three men on the base line. His celebration was reminiscent of Alan Shearer.
