It was the end of an era on Saturday as Otterbourne's Stuart Munro announced that this would be his last ever game.
As well as being a top striker for more than twenty years, Munro's name is synonymous with loyalty. Other than an early stint at Totton and the past year-and-a-half with Otterbourne Stuart spent all his playing days with the now defunct Pirelli General, where he won Hampshire League Championship and Southampton Senior Cup winners medals.
On joining Otters Stuart threw himself into the club and is now assistant first team manager - a role he will continue.
It was not his intention to play this season but he has filled in when asked. Due to the injuries which have plagued him in recent years Stuart no longer feels that he can play to a standard acceptable to him.
But if he is as successful a coach as he was a player we won't hear the last of his name for some time to come!
