It's roadshow time again!

For the price of an average advertisement, recruiting organisations, universities and colleges looking to enrol, or those just looking to raise their profile, can be part of a pro-active exhibiting experience, already favoured by hundreds of regular Job Scene exhibitors.

Time wasted on CV filtering and numerous interviews can be exchanged for a day out of the office well spent.

Dan Goldsmith visited the Southampton Roadshow at the Guildhall in 2003 and walked away with a job. He now works as a field staff operative at Fountains plc.

Last year Dan was back at Job Scene the Roadshow where, in a twist of irony, he was staffing the Fountains stand.

"The roadshow attracted a wide variety of people through the door and it's great to actually talk to people," he said.

"I came here with my mum in May 2003. I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I came and spoke to Fountains about the fast track system, signed up, went for an interview and now I'm fully qualified to work in a vegetation environment on the railway banks."
