RECORD breaking Ellen MacArthur arrived back on British soil today to be told the news she will be made a Dame.
The announcement was made this morning by Downing Street after the Cowes-based yachtswoman sailed her way into the history books by becoming the fastest solo sailor to circumnavigate the earth.
