NAOMI House collect and recycle: Fundraising from rubbish!
Rubbish can be defined as things you would normally throw away.
Please give a thought for Naomi House if you are throwing away the following: red, green or blue plastic milk bottle lids, printer cartridges, old mobile phones, used stamps and foreign currency.
All these things can be recycled. The aim is to raise £8,000 this year, which will pay the fuel bill at Naomi House.
Did you know that the plastic lids can be reground then sold on to the plastics industry which uses them to make bin liners, wellington boots and many other things?
Just take your items to our local collection point in Pamber Heath Stores, where Jay has provided a bin for them. Items can also be dropped off at any of the Naomi House shops.
For more information, contact Pat Bain on 01256 771433.
THEATRE evening: Shep Woolley and Doc Pearce will be in Pamber Heath on Saturday, February 26, with their Holy Rock 'n' Roll Show.
Come and join us for a great evening with the best rock 'n' roll duo in town.
Tickets cost £9.50 including supper, and are available from me on the number above. They are already selling, so don't miss the last show of the season!
