TOWER: One or two faces are falling off the end and the Tower needs more volunteers to keep it going - either as printers or assemblers.
If you are able to spare the odd morning to help bring out this very informative magazine, please call Fiona Sawyer on 297221.
JUNK heap: If you are looking for somewhere to dispose of that heap of junk in the loft, then Molly and Maisie's giant junk heap is the place for you.
They are holding their annual flea market in aid of St Michael's Hospice on Saturday, March 19.
Call Molly Pearce on 298465.
MILK tops: Did you know that those green and blue milk bottle tops are recycled into wellies?
St Mary's Church is collecting them for Naomi House for fundraising.
You can drop them off in the Kingsmill Room at the church on Saturday mornings.
GARDENING club: The next meeting will be at the Village Club, starting at 7.30pm next Thursday (note the earlier start time).
There has been a last-minute change of speaker. Mark Lynam, who is show manager of the Andover Society, will be talking about delphiniums, which he both shows and breeds.
As usual, all are welcome but the club needs more members.
NEW mums: The Bumps and Babes are having a drop-in session next Thursday, from 1.30pm to 3pm, at the Methodist Hall.
This session will be repeated on Thursday, February 24.
Call Louise Porton on 299371 for more information on this support group for new mothers or mothers-to-be.
FOOTPATHS: If you are no longer so hot at climbing stiles, you now have a new walk opportunity.
The footpath group has now installed kissing gates at each end of the path from Bear Hill to Galey Mill.
