The area's last FA Trophy flame was extinguished at Grays Athletic, where Havant & Waterlooville took a 5-0 hiding from the runaway Conference South leaders.
The dominant Essex side also hit the woodwork four times and had a 'goal' disallowed for offside.
Leroy Griffiths struck the bar on four minutes and rattled it again on 13 - Steve West this time reacting first to the rebound to head home.
Griffiths made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time and then he, Dennis Oli and substitute Tony Batterby piled misery upon misery for the Hawks in a one-sided second half.
Havant manager Ian Baird conceded: "Grays were very good. They're the best side I've seen this season. They look like a Conference National side, especially when you consider we beat one Conference National team, Farnborough, 2-0 last Monday."
Asked if there were any positives from a Havant & Waterlooville perspective, ex-Saint Baird quipped: "Leaving the ground was the biggest plus point - and the M25 was clear!"
