TAKE a handful of students keen on cooking, add a plush dining environment and Andover's Cricklade College new bistro already has the recipe for success.
At its official opening this week invited guests dropped by to admire the new college facility and sample some of Anna's Bistro fare.
Test Valley Mayor Neville Whiteley provided his own entre for the bistro - cutting the ribbon to signal it open.
"This is an opportunity for a young person to succeed in catering and I'm sure the future looks very rosy for them," he said.
The bistro will serve as a realistic training experience for hospitality and catering students who will be learning to cook various dishes for hungry diners. The room recreates a realistic res-taurant environment with the help of some eye-catching student art work on the walls.
