KEV DOWNER won a charity match in aid of the Tsunami Asia Appeal arranged by Eastleigh and District A.C on their Stoneham Lakes complex.
Organiser Garry Naylor was overwhelmed by the support fas 41 anglers competed.
Downer took four carp for 35lb 11oz on the method feeder and maggot from peg 59 on the Top Lake.
Graham Tappenden (Homestores Sensas) was second with 33lb 2oz of skimmers and bream taken on the waggler and maggot and corn from peg 102 on the Trojans bank on the Top Lake.
Mick Kenny fished peg 11 on the island on the Bottom Lake and was third with 24lb 14oz of skimmers and carp.
Dave Self (Eastleigh Mosella) was fourth with 22lb 13oz which included an 8lb carp from peg 104 on the Top Lake.
Cormorants fished a club match on Orchard Farms Match lake at Bashley with Garry Wright winning with just 18lb 10oz of small carp to 1lb on the waggler and maggot.
Pete Frasier finished second with 15lb 1oz of pole and maggot caught small carp.
Steve Rochester (Cormorants Team Sillybaits) was third with 13lb 12oz of carp to 8oz.
Salisbury's A.C club match on Sellwoods Lake at Witherington Farm saw good size carp dominate the event.
Mark Black needed just five carp for 36lb 8oz on a mixture of waggler and straight lead tactics with corn and maggot on the hook from peg 13.
Bournemouth Lodge held a sweepstake on the Tench Lake and Match Lake at Orchard Farms Bashley complex with Steve Nadin (Wessex Angling) taking 50lb 12oz of carp to 4lb on the pole and maggot from the Tench Lane to win with ease.
Chris Albiston (Bournemouth Lodge) finished second with 28lb 3oz of carp to 3lb on the pole and maggot from Tench Lake.
The Greenridge Farm Open went to Andy Haydon who took 53lb 10oz of carp to 12lb 8oz on pole and maggot over caster and pellet in the margins from peg 10 on Canal 1.
Pete Newman (Poingdestres) finished second with 41lb 13oz of carp to 5lb on the bread and pole from peg 5 on Canal 1.
Mark Brown was third with 28lb 6oz of carp to 7lb from peg 19 on Canal 2.
Broadlands produced its biggest carp for several months when Sam Riddler took a superb 24lb 8oz common from peg 96 on a boilie over a p.v.a bag of trout pellet.
Garry Davis took a 14lb 12oz mirror carp plus 18 pike between 4lb and 11lb 2oz.
Peter James landed a 19lb 7oz pike from the Blackwater Corner, while John Thorn landed seven nice fish from the Boat Bay including fish of 18lb 1oz, 15lb 3oz and 11lb 7oz on float fished trout.
Peter Curtis (Rownhams) took the biggest carp of the year so far from Longbridge.
He also caught a 21lb 10oz mirror along with a 17lb 4oz and three other doubles in a 14-fish haul from peg 23 on hair rigged pellet in a 36-hour session.
Dave Wyatt (Eastleigh) took six carp including four doubles to 16lb 4oz from peg 4 on the ditch during a day session on the waggler and paste.
Steve Court (Southampton) fished peg 16 on the back bank to land seven tench to 5lb, six bream to 2lb 8ox, three roach to 1lb 8oz, a personal best perch of 2lb 10oz and a carp of 7lb.
Peg 40 on the canal remains in good form with Paul Dixon taking seven carp to 5lb, nine crucians to 1lb 8oz, three tench to 2lb 8oz plus 20lb of silver fish on worm and caster on the pole over chopped worm.
Only Rookley Park produced any carp on The Isle of Wight with four fish recorded.
Wesley Karl took a fine brace of 18lb 12oz and 23lb 12oz, while Christian Horlock took a brace of 18lb 4oz and 21lb 4oz.
Milton Abbas had a quiet time after last week's trio of thirties with Martin Head landing a 21lb 10oz mirror.
Chris Gillett's 20lb 6oz was also recorded at 20 for the first time.
Damian Francis took the only other fish, a 16lb 6oz common.
Waldens Farm saw plenty of pike recorded from Bishops and Abbots Lake to mainly sea fish dead baits with Vince Webb taking a 14lb fish from Bishops.
On Monks Lake, Ben Turner (Tidworth) took a 38lb mixed bag from peg 9, while on Popes Fred Ford included roach and rudd to 1lb 8oz in a 28lb mixed bag in float fished corn. Ross Cooper (Salisbury) took a 15lb mirror on feeder and maggot.
At Turf Croft Farm, Stan Hutchins (Southampton) landed bream to 6lb, perch to 1lb 8oz and carp to 8lb on worm and meat from peg 17.
Paul Philips (Christchurch) landed a ghost carp of 17lb along with another of 11lb.
Karen Taylor (Bournemouth) landed a 14lb mirror.
