Hamble ASSC remain rooted to the foot of the Sydenhams Wessex League table after a disappointing 3-0 home defeat by Cowes Sports.
Although the Isle of Wight club do not travel particularly well in midweek, they ran out comfortable winners at Folland Park thanks to Matthew Bowler, Elliot Day and manager' son Matthew Ohren.
With 13 games left, Hamble are still six points adrift of third-to-bottom safety and secretary Matt Newbold confessed: "Games are running out and the teams we've got left to play are not that easy."
To add to the Planemakers' frustration, they had co-manager/coach Jimmy Ball sent off for two bookable offences in a game riddled with yellow cards.
