Brockenhurst are breathing easier these days after banking seven points from their last three games.
"It's our best return of the season," smiled relieved player/manager Graham Kemp, who defied ankle problems to help the Badgers to a 2-1 home win over Hamworthy United last night.
Having fallen behind to a Darren Orchard goal late in the first half, Brock bounced back with a Darren Guetling header from a corner and a near-post finish by Dave Midgley from Paul Manning's cross.
The result was all the more pleasing for Brock considering they were without Jason Lovell, Ross Drew, Mark Isaacson and Dominic Bryan because sickness and injuries.
"Unfortunately Pikey (Hamworthy boss Alex Pike) wasn't here to see it," laughed Kemp, "but I'll let him know all about it tomorrow!"
