ROCK legends Queen have got more tribute bands than Brian May has plectrums.
And one of the best around is Gary Mullen and The Works who capture the majestic glory of the legendary rockers with their spectacular stage show.
Readers will probably recognise Gary's face from Stars in Their Eyes. The Freddie look-alike won the TV show in 2000, polling nearly a million votes after his heart-tugging version of It's a Kind of Magic.
Before wining the popular TV show Gary was a firm favourite on the club circuit. Now he's more used to playing in front of thousands of Queen fans with his live band The Works - named after Queen's 1984 album by the same name.
Gary and The Works have been a big success abroad too touring New Zealand, Germany and Holland where Queen's legion of fans have taken them to heart.
Their show includes all the band's classic hits including We Are the Champions, Radio Ga Ga, One Vision and, of course, the timeless rock symphony that is Bohemian Rhapsody.
Gary's performance as Freddie Mercury is memorialising and his likeness to the singer breathtaking. If you love Queen and love you're your music loud even more, don't miss them.
Gary Mullen and The Works perform live at the Guildhall on February 2. Tickets from £10.50. Box office: 023 8063 2601.
