TIDWORTH Develop-ment Trust is planning to launch a new publication which will be delivered free to every household in the Tidworth Community area on six occasions each year.
While those behind the project have ideas, funding and a team of volunteers to work on the project they still haven't settled on a name that will be suitable.
So keen are they to give their new readers a say in what they want that the first edition of the not-for-profit publication will be landing on doorsteps with the masthead 'No Name News' in February.
Traditional rivalries and sensibilities in the area mean the team wants the community as a whole to come up with a name that is widely accepted.
"We are planning to distribute around 5,000 copies of the publication six times a year and we want people to tell us what they would like it to be called," said Steve Lawton, chief executive of Tidworth Development Trust.
"We intend that it will be delivered to every house in the community area which includes Tidworth and Ludgershall, the Chutes, Everleigh, Tidcombe and Fosbury, Collingbourne Ducis and Collingbourne Kingston.
"I know that there are people who are interested in what is going on in other villages within the community area and this is one way of spreading the news."
