LOCAL musicians are hoping they can strum their way to raising £1000 for the tsunami disaster appeal at the Fountain Court Hotel in Hythe on February 6.
The six acts playing on the evening will entertain an audience with an eclectic mix of original material and well known covers. Participating musicians include Sine Star Project's Karl Evans, Pete Croissant and Mike Davies; Ro SHAMBO's Martin and Stephen Gregory; Everyday at Avatars' Alex Brackley; Ellie Pope and Gary Blackman; Jamie Rowsell and John Arnold and Andy Mason and Karl Evans as Derrick's Plum Curry.

A JAZZ charity night at New Milton Memorial Centre on Sunday raised £540 for the tsunami disaster appeal. The previous evening a charity dance at the hall raised £880 for the appeal.
