HAMPSHIRE Ambassadors visit Eastleigh College tomorrow for the official opening of the new reception building by Colonel Terry Scriven, chairman of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Learning and Skills Council.
The college is one of only four general further education colleges in the UK and the only one in Hampshire that has been awarded Beacon Status by the Department for Education and Skills for its involvement, understanding and focus in delivering employer training needs.
It works with 600 employers, delivering more than 1,500 programmes for training and assessment.
