Gosport goal-getter Graham Lindsay scored his 100th goal for the club as they returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over CHRISTCHURCH at Privett Park.

Lindsay became only the sixth member to join Gosport's exclusive 'century club' after 88 minutes on Saturday when he fired home from the edge of the penalty area to put the seal on their 4-1 success.

Assistant manager Gary Lee smiled: "I think that's the first time this season that we've played as we really can play. Our finishing was absolutely first class, which was probably the most pleasing aspect of our performance."

Borough opened the scoring afte 30 minutes, a flowing five-man move was finished off by John Cripps and that's how the score stayed until the 75th minute when a mistake by home keeper Colin Matthews was punished by Tom Hughes.

Two minutes later, Neil Scammell fired Gosport back in front from the edge of the penalty area and then Lindsay crossed for Scammell to nod in their third after 82 minutes with Lindsay having the final word.
