NICE to see you, to see you...With the start of the new term at Whitewater school, the hall building is moving on a pace.
Many thanks to everyone for their patience while the construction work continues.
A special warm happy New Year to both Mrs Kain and Mrs Malone, who have now returned to our fold after their leave of absence - boy, are we glad to have you back!
We are also very pleased to welcome Mrs Sheila Coles to the staff as our new special-needs co-ordinator.
Mrs Coles has a wealth of teaching experience, including a period of headship - we know we are lucky to have you, too!
Come and celebrate all our news tonight, at the special "Raise the Roof" Reels party in Heckfield Memorial Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £8.50 each, and include supper, a raffle and all the dancing you'll ever need! While swelling the building fund coffers, we'll have a bit of fun too.
For further information, contact the school office on 762637.
BE THERE or be square... The annual Rotherwick Village Hall Dinner Dance is now on the horizon, so make February 26 one of the first bookings in your new 2005 diary!
As usual there will be a glass of bubbly on arrival, followed by a two-course dinner accompanied by a selection of fine wines, then the chance to boogie the night away to a live band.
Tickets are only £25 each and sell out fast, so pick up those posh frocks and DJs from their post-Christmas cleaning and get together with friends to make it a night to remember!
Call Carolyn Anderson on 762663 to reserve your seats.
